Gay Policeman cleared of rape.

A gay policeman who won Mr Gay UK has had the last of a series of charges against him dropped.
PC Mark Carter, from Birkenshaw, was cleared in June of three counts of sexual assault and one count of rape.
The 28-year-old was due to face trial later this year for possessing the anabolic steroid stanozolol.
However, the Crown Prosecution Service said it was satisfied he was using the drug for medicinal purposes.

Mr Carter, who won Mr Gay UK in 2007, said he was “devastated” by the allegations of rape and sexual assault.
He told ITV Calendar News: “After nearly two years of wait, I have now been found not guilty of all charges held against me.”
“I would like to thank all those who have stood by me: my legal team, West Yorkshire Police Federation, my family and friends and my work colleagues. These people have supported me in what can only be described as a living nightmare.”
He remains suspended from West Yorkshire Police.
