The UK Prime Minster, David Cameron reportedly isn’t in favour of a possible ban on gay kisses being screen before the 9pm watershed on Uk television.
There had been several press reports that stated Cameron was all set to support a new report which would recommend banning gay couples from kissing on telly before nine.
Coronation Street actresses Brooke Vincent and Kym Marsh both criticising the plans and Cameron. All of UK soaps now have main gay and lesbian characters, with many important gay storylines currently taking place.
It has now emerged that David Cameron, reportedly, will not back any such proposals, according to a spokesperson for the PM talking to Radio 1’s newsbeat. The spokesperson said the reports were "both wrong and being irresponsible". Reg Bailey, who is behind this much talked about review, has also denied any such proposals exist, however the report is not yet completed.
