A former X FACTOR winner, Joe McElderry has been announced as the headline act for this year’s Gay Pride event in down in Torbay, UK.
Joe McElderry will be headlining the main stage at the Pride in the Park event on the second day of the three-day festival. The 20 year old star from South Shields will be at the party in Hollicombe Park where he will perform songs including Dance With My Father, Don’t Stop Believin’ and his number one hit The Climb. This is one of the first public performances after he was dropped from Simon Cowells label for poor sales.
Matt Newbury, Torbay Pride organiser said the event will include other familiar faces from TV talent shows, including duo Diva Fever from last year’s X Factor. They will be joined by Britain’s Got Talent finalist Sean Smith, who was runner-up to Susan Boyle and Diversity.
